Associate

Alena specializes in comprehensive legal support for businesses and private clients, successfully representing their interests before arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction. Her strong command of procedural law allows her to build an effective strategy at every stage — from pre-trial settlement through to appellate review.

A core area of Alena’s practice is the legal support of restaurant businesses and event management companies. She advises clients on the structuring of contractual arrangements, protection of rights in dealings with landlords, suppliers and counterparties, and represents their interests when disputes arise. Alena also advises companies operating in the residential and commercial property leasing sector, covering everything from negotiating lease terms to resolving conflicts between landlords and tenants.

Alongside her business practice, Alena has extensive experience in family law and consumer protection. She handles matters that require a nuanced understanding of both the legal and personal dimensions of a dispute: child maintenance claims, paternity challenges, division of matrimonial property, and the protection of consumers against unscrupulous sellers and service providers.

Representative matters:

  • Representation of a transport and logistics company in an arbitration dispute seeking recovery of outstanding debt and penalties from a counterparty that had refused to pay for services rendered. The first-instance court ruled entirely in the client’s favour; the defendant’s appeal was dismissed.
  • Recovery of unjust enrichment and statutory interest on behalf of a transport company under a carriage agreement that had been terminated by the counterparty without proper return of the advance payment. The claim was granted in full.
  • Recovery of child maintenance in a fixed monthly sum from a father who had concealed his income. Alena built an evidential case demonstrating the defendant’s actual standard of living and argued successfully for the application of Article 83 of the Family Code of the Russian Federation. The court awarded maintenance in an amount commensurate with the father’s true financial position.
  • Defence of a client against a claim for the establishment of paternity and recovery of child maintenance. Alena secured the appointment of a forensic DNA examination, the results of which did not confirm a biological relationship. The court dismissed the claim in its entirety.
